It’s starting to look like a gym!
Every time we walk by this space, it’s hard not to think about how far we’ve come. After losing our gym and cafeteria last year, our students and staff learned firsthand what it means to adapt, make things work, and keep moving forward.
Now, steel is up, the building is enclosed more every day, the concrete floor is in, and you can finally stand inside and really picture what this space is going to become.
Soon, this won’t be a construction site. It’ll be a place for basketball games, pep rallies, concerts, assemblies, graduations, community events, and memories our kids haven’t even made yet.
We still have plenty of work ahead of us, but this is a pretty incredible sight for North Daviess R-III.
We’ve come a long way, Knights. And we’re not done yet.
